Ok first of of i jus wanna say hi im new to the boards and trying to learn as much as possible about the 240sx. i have some questions.

i have 13k for a car right now and i wanna know how much it would cost to buy a newer 240sx and do a full bodykit or silvia conversion ( what are some good body kits) and a sr20det engine swap(which is better black or red top). and then do basic boltons to the new engine. how much do u think that would run me. jus tryin to get answers so plz help or dont reply.

 

shop around for a decent ride.. if you have 13k cash you should have plenty for 240 and engine swap ...

I think u mean SR20DET, the redtop and blacktop are basically the same motor. Blacktops cost more cus they have less mileage.

Do sum searches and you'll find everything u want to kno...

 

It also depends which black top...s13 blacktops are the same as s13 redtops but like slidin said the blacktops are newer...however, s14 and s15 blacktops have 20 and 50 more horses than the s13 respectively. Search for more...

 

Get an s13 if you want lots of mods so you will save money with the car.
