Angry Never Tie up your hood!!!

Crap my hood flew open on the Highway!!!! It shattered my sunroof cracked my front window and lowered my roof big time and the hood now looks like a big salad bowl!!!!

Dammit once I fix it all I am going to get that damn hood latch or get some racing hood pins cuz this will never happen again!
the worst thing is I checked it b4 I left and it all looked good and stuff but that crap I had one was some weak @ss that wire thingy that you put around a few wires and it makes a ziploc type noise?? It doesnt matter all I know I was goin 60 and whoop!! hood was up in my face and glass everywhere!!! Man I didnt loose control of the car but I did lose self control when I drove home!!! Beat the crap out of my hood(to make it straight but really aggrasive)

That sucks the big one. Sorry to hear about that. My hood latch broke, but luckily caught it before I drove. I beat the poo out of it with a hammer and then put on some hood latches. That is gonna cost some nice$$$$ to fix the roof, maybe

Jr had the same thing happen to him recently. A friend looked at something under his hood and apparently didn't get it shut all the way. Destroyed his hinges...cracked the windscreen...broke the latches on the sunroof....scared the shiite out of him as well. FRP hood just needed a little fixxin here and there. Its all good now but it was some scary stuff at the time.

sorry to hear that man, I have a carbon fiber hood on my 240, and that would frost my a** if that happened to me... Good luck, and I feel for you!
