yea the VQ has been done.

personally i would not do it even with my wiring and mechanical skill. that time could be spent building a setup that is a lil more practical. my mind set is always to replace broken parts quickly. now if i blow something on a VQ which i would if it was in my engine bay. how long would i be down etc????

its a cool "told you so" swap but the gains are not enough for me. and that motor doesn't impress me at all. i would do vg30dett ( going to single of course) swap before VQ

PS

I HOWEVER would do VQ before LS1 (lighter then KA). that swap is cool but sickens me that you feel that you have to go outside of Nissan for power. its a slap in the face to engineers. I'm not a Nissan only guy, i have built Honda's and Toyota's etc, but we have the Powa.

Yes, but there comes a point at which the best way to get power is with redneck methods. How many magazines at your local newsstand have parts for our imports by the thousands? Pick up any redneck "chevy performance" type magazine and its like gold. And cheap!.... cheap-er I should say.
