Hey guys,

I'm currently lookin to have an s14 silvia imported (Canada) and just had a quick question. which models of the s14 had driver airbags? i ask because i dont want them and theyre illegal to remove up here so i figured if they were never there i wouldnt have to worry about it. also, with the models that don't have the airbags (if any), is there any difference in the motor (ex they have the non-turbo sr).

 

All of them came with airbags. All S14 Silvias in Japan had SR20DE-T engines, that is with turbo. Only the S15 had the non-turbo motor as an option.

 

alright thanks man, that clears up quite a bit for me. i was looking at some s14's on www.tradecarview.com and some of them didnt list "turbo" as one of the features so i wasnt 100% sure.

 

look into s13 if you dont want an airbag... like he said all s14 have airbags...

 

thanks, but i like the styling of th s14 better. i'll look into it, but i've already thought about what i would do in that situation. still, much appreciated
