i need to know which s13 240sx models (i belive 89-94) come with what engines in the US. i have done some research and it seems around 90 or 91 there was a switch from a ka24e, ka24de, ca?. i also would like to know which ones were dohc and which ones were sohc. i am looking for an s13 to put a redtop sr20det in but would like to get the model/year with the best stock motor to have until i can afford a swap.

89 and 90 had the KA24E SOHC , then switched to the DOHC in 91. So a 91 up and your in business
