NEWER KA motor in an '89?

since the 89 is SOHC, would a newer DOHC KA motor swap in with out too much trouble?

about the only thing that is different that i know of is the power steering lines and pump are different and the lines are on the opposite side. the clutch is different as well so i would imagine the flywheel might be different as well.,
