Angry Not good.

Well, on saturday night we had some pretty serious downpours. I've got very low-tread, almost bald tires. I had no choice though, had to get home from work. So, i'm going about 30, taking a corner, little did i know there was a puddle on the other side.

You guessed it, I hydroplaned off the road and into a pole.

Luckily there is no engine damage, but i've got a lot of fixing to do. This is by-far, the worst thing that has ever happened to me.
Gotta replace the hood, left head-light assembly, fender, Radiator Core support, and the strut tower/ suspension unit is pushed back.

Its going to be towed within a day or two, luckily i'm partially sponsored by a shop, so hopefully it doesn't cost to much.

This is my first accident, and boy was it a shock. I don't know what i'm going to do with my baby off the road for a month or so.

That sucks dude. Are you going to replace the broken body pieces with any aftermarket ones or are you just going to put good stock parts on? I can understand the hydroplaning in the rain, I almost hit a curb the other day going to work, and I got stuck on a hill in the rain because the wheels wouldn't stop spinning.

You have a lot of work ahead of you... good luck.

the skirts are Origin, they are Hand-laid Fiber-glass.

S15 conversion? How about this: I'm 17 with no money. lol and i already have an Origin S13 bumper.

As far as damage, i'm pretty sure there is frame damage. The strut tower is actually knocked back about 3-5 inches and the wheel is so tight against the fender/side-skirt that i can't drive it.

It may turnout that its going to be too much money for me to fix, and i'll have to get a new ride. I really want to fix it, but i may have to give her up.

Could end up better though. I had my first 240, needed a lot of work, got it done. 2 weeks later some dude pulled out and totalled it. I got all of what was put into it to make it run again, with it bought another 240, this one was in much better shape. So you never know, things have a weird way of working out.

Not when you don't have insurance to cover yourself. Unfortunatly I only have Compulsory Insurance to cover the other driver.

The vehicle is Totaled, i am selling various parts, they will be listed in the "Private For Sale" section of the forums.
