My sunroof...despite my superior silicone application has once again begun leaking. I have had it with this and just want the damn thing taken out...problem is...if I do that, you guessed it...a big hole will remail in the roof. I am hoping somone knows how to remove/weld sheet metal or something in its place so that I can have a solid, sealed roof that doesnt leak a foot of water onto the floorboards if I dont check it every day. Please guys...I am desperate.

PS- if someone local to va knows how to do this, perhaps we could work out a little monetary compensation.

Well getting it out should be the easy part...and a friend of mine says all I need is the metal and an arc welder...which you can rent (cost of renting + use of argon) then sand, prime, and paint...shouldnt be TOO dificult...but I have never welded before in my life. IF it happens then yes, pictures will definitely be taken.

FYI- The car was free, so I didn't have a choice with or without sunroof.
