Do you mean the two cables that are pictured ^?

If so one is your cruise controll and the other is your throttle cable
the one closest to the IM is the throttle, that is the only one you "need" to have hooked up. and about the rest it could be the timing, My timing was off and my car ran like ****.

Good luck w/ it

well i guess thats good because i have the one i need.....but bad because it still runs like **** but i think the head gasket is bad....man one thing after the other,im runnin out of money :-(
i need to compression check it still, and i have a coolant leak some where. i can fill it about 3/4 the way full but when i fill it over that it just runs on the ground, right below the motor but i cant see where its coming from. any other ideas, the motor that i got had been sitting for over 2 years but supposdley when i bought it the junkyard stripped it down and cleaned it out..and the gas that was in the shell is about a year old. if that helps any...

that gas is a big problem as well... take off the fuel line going to the fuel filter and run the gas out of it into a gas can...it goes bad after a time... as far as the coolant leak goes... there are heater hoses running under the intake manifold...as well as a few bypass hoses under there as well any one of them can leak or be bad from old age... always replace the hoses when swapping in a motor... saves time and headaches in the end... like this one... getting to the ones under the intake is hard as hell... but with small hands and some creative bending you can get to them...

supposedly they cleaned and compression checked it but i think thier full of **** as far as the coolant leak its my head gasket i think they took it apart and put it back together using the old gaskets because they dont warranty gaskets. i put more coolant back in it and i watched it pour out of the head... so its gotta be the head gasket, so im going in the morning to pick up a new one and install it. . hopefully thats all that it is.... ill let you guys know after i put it in tomorow. any other ideas and suggestions are welcome. thanks for all the help.

replace all the water holding hoses while you are there... save having to pull the head or intake off again... they are pretty cheap and it will save headaches...

well i compresion checked it...perfect, so now im assuming its the intake manifold gasket. i didnt put a new gasket on it when i changed them and i didnt put silicone on the bolts so i talked to a mechanic and he said if the compression checks out fine then thats probabley what it would be.so maybe its running out of the bottom of that, because that is right above my head gasket. also i was told that those bolts hold water in or somthing i fogot what he said exactly. so i shall try that and let everyone know in a couple hours.
