This is probably a stupid question but what is the differences between PS, BHP and just good ol' Horsepower? What do they stand for and are they different measurments or what?

BHP = Brake Horse Power, it's the amount of usable horsepower measured at either the crank or wheels.

PS = Dunno what it means, but it's pretty much the metric measurement for hp. In a conversion it'd be slightly less power than hp. Like 280 PS = 276 HP

Just found this on the internet. PS means "Pferdestärke" and 1 PS = 1.014 HP
