Have you changed your spark plugs and cables recently? My 240 would do that when my music was blaring and the sub-woofer amp was sucking up lots of juice. Radio goes on and off, dome lights flicker, head lights go dim, etc. I didn't have the "about to stall out" problem but i could see that happening if your spark plug cables are bad. I was told to change my alternator but if your battery is charging like normal then it might be something else, like a haunting.

When I drove my parts car to my dads, It would stall out when I came to a stop. My dad said its cause the clutch is so weak...
That would make sense if you're clutch is not disengaging properly.

Get a clutch master cylinder while you're at autozone. It's about $30. It'll fix that "weak clutch" of yours..

Changing Alternatos for Dummies:
1. unplug old alt.
2. unbolt old alt.
3.bolt in new alt.
4. re-attach red and black cables (on the right posts).
The worst part is moving the damm belts.
