its always better to have more cc's then less ( that the safc can handle) lol.. you can increase of decrease the cycle by using the safc controller.

Hopefully for my birthday I'm getting a SAFC NEO. Im going with the 370ccs because I found a set for 20 bucks. 2 have cracked caps but Courtesy Nissan sells replacements for cheap. Do they even need the plastic caps? I read somewhere that somebody was running without them, but I might have misunderstood. And also, Im going with a T25 because I have a better chance of finding one cheap (im on a budget here). If i can find a t28 for decently cheap I'll buy that, but if not ill start off on a t25. Ill be making hella good money once baseball season gets started so ill go from there. If you cant tell from the sig she needs to be lowered also, so I gotta balance things.
I need an opinion. SSAC top or bottom mount? I heard theres issues with the brake MC. |
there is no issue with a turbo that size... i am having issues with my ssac T3/T4 top mount now becuase my turbo is way bigger than an z31 T3 so i have to go with and log style manifold to free up space
as far as the caps. ( on the injector nozzle) many people just take em off for different reasons. some think they will flow better... not really true, but you should be fine. bro NEO is........................ over rated other then the additional programmable points, vtec, the new cool screen etc... its just not worth it. |
Bottom Mount and T28 w/480cc, u silly man you.
Wait till you make money from baseball season. Project: Good Lordy 240, nah mean |
mine was missing a cap, no problem....bottom mount

well IMO the AFC-Neo isnt that over rated, its merely just an updated version of the SAFCII. Same stuff basically just a few new features and of course the color screen.
I installed one about 2 weeks ago for a friend and he is really pleased with it. The install was very straight foward and its a pretty awesome product for the amount you pay. (About $300) I think its worth it. |
Did your friend buy his off Ebay or somewhere else? Theyre considerably cheaper on ebay than anywhere else, so Im worried theyre fake or something, like the fake tien suspension, etc. Like I said im not paying for it but i still want to save my parents some money.

But the cool new screen is where its AT! I know it doesnt have much advantage over an SAFCII but if i do get it for my birthday and im not paying for it thats all fine with me. I was going to leave the screen on the voltage gauge when im not changing the fuel points, and it looked sorta cool. So I guess you could say that I do need it for my fuel control but because I want the NEO instead of the II my inner rice is coming out... dont worry I wont let it ruin me.
