on my 95 240, the key used to work all the time, but lately, (started with the trunk, then the passenger door and as of yesterday, the driver door) it does not want to open it. It takes about 5 minutes of jiggling the key around to get it to unlock. I think the key is just extremely worn, as opposed to the locks. Can i go to a dealer and have them get me a brand new key based on my old one, or my VIN??? Any help would be appreciated.

yes thats correct. give them your vin and they acn cut you a key. sometimes ot takes like 20 minutes, but they can do it.
