R34 Neo Rb25det

i have an 89 240sx and i'm swaping an R34 rb25det and was wondering how much i could sell my car for if i wanted, like max? I was hopin around 20k or more but i dunno.... the Neo rb25det IS a little more rare and more of a pain in the *** to get the wiring done though. Any estimates on how much i can get for my car?

I don't really know how much you could get, but I think 20k is a bit high of an estimate

im willing to bet that half the poeple that would come look at the car wouldent know the RB25DET form the CA18det or the KA24DE for that matter....

IMO i think its good to do engine swaps for your self, not to sell the car

yea but im also willing to bet theres a few people out there that once they hear that it has a skyline engine in it they'll nut themselves since most of the ricers in the world are like OMG SKYLINE SKYLINE SKYLINE yet they probably dont even knoe **** about the car besides u can't buy it here and its nissan's flagship....

but yea....i wouldn't pay 20k or 14k for that matter...but thats mostly cause id rather buy an FD

if you wanna make some quick money, just find a 240 with a blown engine for like $500, swap in the regular KA engine for another couple hundred, and put an ad in the paper with jdm and drift in the headlines and sell it for like $4000, someones bound to buy it. Repeat it a couple times and you got some money for your FD

yeah, that's the skyline GTR... mine's off an R34 Skyline GT-T... here's a couple sites on the specs....

http://www.skylinegts.co.uk/R34_spec.htm

http://www.linney.org/Nissan_skyline_R34GTT_info.htm

the diff is that my motor is a 2.5L as opposed to a 1.6L and is a single turbo... supposidly the R34 version as opposed to the R33 version has stonger pistons and thicker rods... and has 280bhp as opposed to 250bhp or whatever they supposed ot have.... also it has some Neo system thingy mabobber that i dont quite understand... supposed to help fuel economy
