Rear window weatherstripping...

The top right corner of the rear window weatherstripping is sticking up. Any pointers on how to give it back under the glass or am I going to have to buy a new one? Ive tried to man-handle it but it wont stay down. Looking at it closer it seems that it is all one peice, and has torn itself, am i correct on this?

it looks like the weather stripping has begun to shrink... you can take a flat head screw driver and carefully push it back into place but im thinking without removint the window it will not go back around the backk edge like it is suposed to... i would suggest having a window shop remove the glass and replace the stripping with a new piece...

Just got done pricing everything (finally). Oh it looks A LOT!!! worse now than it did in pic above too. I called 7 different shops. All said they are not liable if the glass breaks and the labor runs $65 to $100. I would have to provide the stripping as well since only Nissan carries it.

Good news though, one shop I called didnt really do that kind of work, but the dude gave me his name and told me to call this number and ask for this girl. She picked up, told her that Mike refered me and she's going to do it for free! Well not replace the stripping but glue it back down for me for free. So Im going to take it today (hopefully) and get it done.

got it done yesterday. Just removed the tape and its fixed. Whatever they used was some good ****. It took two hands to get the stripping back into position, but whatever he put on it held just fine as soon as we pushed the stripping down. It looked like caulking and came in a tube just like caulking and you had to use a caulking gun to push it out. It was black and came in a black tube. Anyone know what this stuff could be?
