Which S13 is best to buy?

im looking into getting an S13 and (of course) swapping the sr20det and building into a 180sx. i was just wondering what chassis would be best to get? i know some have to be better than others. like ive heard the Sohc 240's are harder to do the swap in than the Dohc. also, what is the lightest chassis? how much do they weigh on average? and what s13s came with the trunk/non-hatch so i can know to avoid them?

an S13 is the Chassis.

Sohc harder than Dohc?? Please elaborate. I dont believe its any harder, the only thing i could see is some people use the power steering resevoir from teh Dohc with the SR.

As long as your getting all the parts the SR will go into any S13, S14 w/out too much trouble.

As far as i know the Chassis never changed...besides the fact that they made the convertible in certain years. (not that that counts) Otherwise its just the coupe, and hatch that came in the S13 chassis....

you could look for one with a smoked motor too. i paid $1900 for my car, 101K miles. is was sputtering and head a dead cylinder when i bought it. changed a fuel injector and it purs like a kitten.
