Your Cost will be based on YOur area. The Hatch IS a sports car,yet do to age will be less than most. YOUR Grades WILL be the BIG factor on costs. The closer to an B+ average, the more $$ you keep in your pocket.. Still though, looking around 2K per yr for base.

Some insurance companies such as Geico dont take into accoun't your grades. Age, driving and criminal record, color of car, age of car, condition of car...alot of this comes into play as well.

Where the hell do you live that your grades are a factor in car insurance? Do you have to give the insurance company access to your academic records? That's messed up. Do they give you a no-cavity discount if your dentist tells them that you floss?

In his defense...some companies DO do that, but it is rarer and rarer.

My insurance co. considers my 92 fastback a sportscar. and yes you can get discounts if your a student and make good grades. I only pay around 1200 a year with 1000 in aftermarket parts insured and full coverage.

Grades effecting insurance is pretty common in AZ, everyone I know has some sort of deal due to grades. I have an s14 and I get killed on insurance .
