s14 acceleration???

last night i went to a buddy's house. took him out with me to try out my viscous. after that he ask if he can test drive it. i let him, he ask me if its ok if he can step on it, i was like go ahead if you want. so from a dead stop, he launch at 3,200rpm, picked up pretty good, 2nd gear didnt feel clutch but the mph still accelerating pretty fast, rpm dropped to 5,000, stuck there for a sec, 3rd gear, same thing! feels pretty fast though probly faster than how i wouldve driven. i've never been able to do that with my car. i asked him how he did it and all he said was I DONT KNOW! he knows alot bout cars too and said that it wasnt the clutch and he doesnt really know what happend. so my question is WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPEND THERE??? anything will help thanks!

either that or he just timed it right. If you're timing is perfect, you won't feel the clutch engaging.

he might be just a better driver (no affense) my dad drives so smooth you can barly tell when he is shifting, and he rev matches really well to so the car doesnt really have much of a weight shift.

^^^^ he's very right. I get pissed when my friend drives b/c I think he's flooring it and it wastes gas, when he's barely moving.
