hey i just bought my first s14 and it has a gas leak i bought it knowing this cause body is in decent condition and it runs and was only $2600 >.>.

well i havnt been able to put it up on a lift yet but from looking under the car looks like its leaking from above the gas tank onto the gas tank and onto the floor. was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and if you guys have any ideas on what it could be.

 

replace the gasket..have a shop do it so u done blow urself up or just be really careful.

 

may i ask which gasket? lol
btw, im a mechanic but i work at acura so im still learing with nissans

 

i think he means the gasket for the fuel pump maybe be leaking, you may also want to see if you have a punctured tank...you never know these days...

 

does it do it all the time or only when the tank is filled?

 

all the time well i guess it dost matter anymore since i crashed today on the way to work...........


my tie rod end snapped when i was turning lost controll hit a curb and flipped a few times...............
my airbags didnt even go off till i stoped fliping... well atleast it happened b4 i put any money into it lol
