I have a 93 240 and thinking about purchasing a 95 240 for $500 from a friend. From what I am told, the car has a lot of body damage and the windows are all broken but the stock KA engine is fine. He is selling it to me because he had no insurance at the time it was vandalized and the salvage company will only pay 300 for it. I plan on doing a 5 lug conversion on my s13 if i am to get his 240.

What else could i take off his car to put on mine? I have a non-turbo sr engine by the way.

 

If you get that car and want to sell some of the interior stuff, let me know. I'm in need of some black interior pieces like the radio trim, door handle trim rings, and ashtray. Thanks.

 

To be honest, steal the 5 lug hub and any other small peices you'd like. But your friend really would make more money just parting the thing out for body panels and peices etc. I'll take the seats (depending on color) off your hands if you actually buy the car .

The car was beat by people with bats. I haven't seen the interior yet. Yes he thought about parting it out but he needs the money within two weeks becuase he is jobless. He was a talent scout for HIN.

If i do get the car, i will take pics and part out the things i don't want. I will probably keep the engine for a future KA buildup though. Anyways, noone has answered my question yet. I don't want to buy the car just for the hubs and wheels. By the way, i was wondering if the 95 240s cam wit VLSD?

 

is it just me or are there a lot of s#$t happening in texas. Wasn't there a post about a guy in texas being shot at while driving his 240,somewhere on here.

 

haha yea I guess a lot of bs like that does happen down here, but ive grown to get used to it. I just try to lie low. I have another friend with an RSX type s and one night, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, was mistaken to be someone elses car. After a big rumble the car was left with about 6 grand worth of damage, luckily his insuranced covered it. He's getting a new body kit from the claim too.

 

i am stayin the HELL out of texas. as for the '95, i THINK it might have come as an option/part of a sport package on the SEs. dunno for sure, someone with that info has to be on this forum.

 

It is starting to get crazy here. Last year my car got broken into 6 x's. And every time it cost me like 300 to get it to run again because they kept stealing my computer and fuel control unit. Fockers!! It just makes it hard when you love to do something and work hard for it and someone that is a piece of **** and works for nothing gets it for free. But hey other than that its a great place to be.
