Yes, today was a sad day for me as I got into an accident with my 240 . I was in a turn lane with a green arrow and we started to move. We stopped, then started to move again however very slowly since the traffic was backed up through the intersection. I quickly turned my head to the left to see what the holdup was. Unfortunately, I did not turn back in time as the man in front of me had stopped thus.......BAM!!!!. Cracked my front bumper kit down the side and bent in the entire front end about an inch and a half, enough to throw everything our of whack, not to mention my hood now looks like the bridge i pass over daily . Luckily, there was no engine damage and the SUV that I hit had no damage either. The man let it slide (for some odd reason) and there were no policemen to report it, nor insurance companies called, however I do have to pay for the repairs out of my pocket. NOW, the question of the day...since my front bumper kit is pretty much shot, do I buy another one, or return to the stock front bumper? hmmmmmmm

 

that sucks. but its cool that he let it slide.

 

depends how your kit looked... if it looked good keep it, if you didnt really like it go back, if you post a pic of the kit i think it'll be alot easier for us to judge

 

sorry to hear that. major suckage. and yeah, if u can, post a pic of the kit so we can see if it'll look right w/a stocker bumper.

 

i dont have the software to upload pics from my camera, not enough space on the hard drive to make it run smoothely, but its ok cuz ive decided to go back to stock, or somethin that looks relatively similar to stock. Its clean, and i want to make it a sleeper for right now..maybe a little later on when i actually have money ill go back to the exterior mods. thanks for the replies
