So I might trade my car...

For this!

Opinions? Things I should look for? The only real thing stopping me from doing the trade (other than if I don't like how it drives of course) is how impractical doing this trade would be. Not that I can't afford it, but I don't know if I'd want to use that car as a daily driver. Plus it'd be terrible for snow. I know all 240s are horrible for snow, but 280whp is just asking for trouble. This normally wouldn't be a concern for me, but last night it snowed, and I spun out once and nearly wrecked another time. And then I couldn't go to work today because my car couldn't make it up the hill to the main road. Granted, I'm still relatively new to RWD, and I've got bad tires, but still. What do you guys think? This is essentially the car I've been looking for...

I have a '95 240SX. Pretty much stock aside from strut tower bars. So I'd either be trading my car plus cash, or sell my car and pay all in cash. Same difference, as long as I can get the $3800 for mine that I paid for it. I actually think that this pignose is a really good deal, given all that it's had done to it. There's another guy that's selling one with a blacktop SR20, ****ty paint, and no other mods for $8000. The prices of 240s are highly inflated here.

if you want a fast good daily driver thats good in the snow too (if your not stupid) send your s14 to www.Projectr14.com, they will make you an awd rb26 powered s14, for a hefty price of course. but id say it would be the best car for you lol

dont buy a car that is already modded up..thats lamesauce, you just need to learn how to drive your car in the snow and get some winter tires on some cheap wheels or something..

I normally would agree with you moteginion, but in this case, it's about price. The cost of doing all that would justify spending that much on that car. He's asking $8500 for the car, and you know the total cost of all those mods is at least $6000, even conservatively priced. Plus, I feel pretty sure that if I were to ever sell the car, I'd be able to get my money back. And another thing, come spring, I'd like to have a track-worthy vehicle. My car definitely is not, and would take a lot of reconditioning to make it so. This car would need a lot less.

Oh and there's no way I can afford an R14...heh...

um yea...or buy an evo 9...which would own that R-14 or whatever thats crap is called. oh wait, how about you buy a genuine R32 GTR? (the correct url is http://www.full-race.com/r14/ btw) pipe dreams aside...$3800 for that S13 is an extremely good price...maybe too good to be true? from what i can see the modifications to that car make sence, but like mr motegineon said, buying a car that has already been modified to that extent can be a bad idea. ulitmately its up to you. personally i think at this point both choices are about equal but in very different ways.

Lol.. He said LameSauce...

but yeah.. i say keep the S14..Its beautiful. Buying a pre-modded car takes the fun out of owning a 240..

Just my 3 dollars..

Haha, that car is $8500, not $3800. I paid $3800 for my S14.

I wouldn't call my car "beautiful" in its current state, heh. Again, this is all about money. If I had enough of it, I wouldn't have bought my car in the first place. The reason I have the car that I do is because I needed a car and wanted a 240. Basically, I've got a $5000 loan that I can spend on a car, and only a car. Not on mods or just whatever.

I'm going to go drive it tomorrow. If I like it, and everything looks sound, I'll probably get it. I look at the potential purchase of this car as an investment...I wouldn't mind paying off a loan on it, because the price isn't going to depreciate much. Cars like that will always be in demand...or at least, they will for as long as I'll own it.

Another (perhaps better) option would be this:

1992 Coupe

I'll look at both, I suppose. I really dig the color of that coupe. And it has more worthwhile mods. And considerably less mileage...
