Prices are crazy in CO because of location. Not a whole lot up here. Why do you think I paid $3800 for my '95 with 150k miles? Heh

I think it's a good deal. But also remember that an s14 has more chassis strength and less flex than an s13.
S13 chassis is lighter though so you may have some fun with it...
Do what you think is best man, you shouldn't hold yourself back from your own opinion and how you feel about the situation.

Well, I drove the blue one today. And all I've gotta say is, wow! It's amazing to drive. I've never driven a car with so much power and such tight handling. It definitely has its flaws, though. I didn't care for the clutch. It was tough to get going, and it would take a lot of getting used to. Not only that, but it's an unsprung clutch, and that creates problems. It makes a horrible noise that sounds like the gears are grinding whenever you're not on the gas. They're not, though...it's just noise. Or so he said. Anybody know about that? For reference, it's an ACT 6-puck clutch with HD pressure plate. Maybe it's because of the nismo tranny mounts?

There were also a lot of little annoying things...like, no radio, no a/c, automatic seatbelts not working, noisy as hell brake pads, BOV not tuned very well, etc. It's kind of in a state between pure track car and daily driver. That is, it loves WOT, but it's also civil enough to be driven daily. I don't know if I'm going to get it. I'll probably go drive that grey coupe, and get whichever one I think is the better value.

Unsprung clutches destroy the synchros.
Don't buy it. The transmission work alone could be worth more than the car.

BTW unless your putting a ridiculous amount of power in your machine , an organic race disc is always the way to go . "6 puck" just sounds cooler.

Seriously? Well, that settles that then. I'd rather not buy a car only to have to change the clutch right away. I hope that grey car is better.

Damn. Grey car's sold. I'm not buying the blue car because I decided it's just not roadworthy enough. I forgot to mention earlier that it has no horn and has a JDM gauge cluster (Km/H ONLY). And it might not pass emissions. Oh well, looks like I'm keeping my car for a while.
