someone has to know

how does the rear shoulder belt for an 89 work? their are over 17000 ppl on these boards surely someone knows how they work.

theres a sensor in the door... the control module is under the center dash, right under the glove box thing by your elbow

no, he means in the back seats.
The way the shoulder belt clips in along with the lap belt.

Good question, I never figured it out either. Then again, i don't sit in the back.

haha, when I had my 89 coupe, my friends had the best looks on there faces when they had to sit back there.. I have no clue how it worked... I never tried to see though.

i'm only asking because i have a carseat back there. it's just a little more comforting having the shoulder belt holding the carseat down as well.

Yeah i am gonn ahave to have a car seat put in mine also when i get it runnin. I havent even tried to figure it out yet though.

I dont have the owners manual and the chances of someone at the dealership remembering are pretty slim. I woudl check some other forums and see if they respond.... someone has to have a owners manual or the memory to know..

i want that to be the right way to do it but it doesn't explain the medal piece on the belt. i've searched the forum and online for like 3 days now and nothing. i even called up to the dealership and they had no idea.
