someone has to know
i'm beginning to think that for some weird reason the 89 nissan 240sx is the only car in existance with that kind of shoulder harness and nobody in the universe knows how to work it exactly.
AHAHA!!!!! I'm all mighty!!! I, and only I have the only owners manual in the world that remains fro mthe 240sx!!!!!!
I have the knolege!!!! and I think I can help you, I'll scan the pages and try to put them on here, maybe this is so rare and noone knows that I'll become a sticky
"sticky: The rear lapbelt, shoulder belt thread"!!!
jajaja

LMFAO! Actually I have the owners manual also...
I find it very funny how we can swap motors, take a car that doesn't run and make it run, make cars that go so fast, yet we can't figure out how our seat belts work.
LOL!

nope that is how to install a car seat... in teh 89 there is a lapbelt and a shoulder belt that are seperate and no one can figure out how they hook together. this pic shows a standard seatbelt that is one peice.... good try though.
I have the same belts
Take the lap belt. look where the belt loops through the buckle( between the belt and buckle), there should be a round slot. the round peg on the shoulder belt slides into this slot.

hello captain obvious. that was so easy it makes my head hurt thinking about how long it took me to figure it out. thank you for opening my eyes. if you need anything within reason hit me up. i feel a lot better now that my daughters car seat is held in there like a rock.

no problem,
still if there is anyone who can't figure it out.
you take the lap belt buckle

between the belt and buckle there are some grooves

take the shoulder belt buckle

slide it into the center hole

then slide it over into the smaller groove

hopefully this helps the rest
