SpeedO dont work?

Question SpeedO dont work?

Hey everybody.. My SpeedO Doesn't work.. Why is this? And the backlight for the dash does not work as well.. How can i fix this?

speed o could be two things. your speed sensor in your tranny or the ring gear that the speed sensor reads off of :}

my h22 prelude had that problem and i had it fixed. about 500ish to open the tran and replace the ring gear.

he has a hud in his car that is why it dont work... there is a fix for it all ya gotta do is search and you will find lots of threads on it... one of the threads even shows a sight where you can send it to to repair... 185 bucks or a cheap fix at the local electronics parts house that will cost ya bout 3 bucks and a few hours time to repair...

note the repair is a pain in the ***... mine only works from time to time due to the fact that soldering in that little tiny place is a b|tch...

i was looking at the tranny the other day.. And i saw a sensor that was loose from the left side of the tranny. could that be the speedo one? I tighted it back up becuase it was also leaking **** from it.. Thanks for your time.
