I would like to do an SR swap in a 240 for a project car, but my dad isn't a fan of foreign cars because "you can't get parts for 'em."

Whats the best way to get parts for a Japanese engine besides searching for them on the internet. If something were to break down and I needed a part fast...what do you do? You can't just walk into napa and say "I need a part for and SR20 engine"

This may seem dumb to you... but my dad has all the tools, space, and knowlege to do a 240 project, but he wants an american car he can get parts for... and american cars suck!

If anyone knows a good source with cheap oem replacement parts, please let me know. And please don't think im some wanabee drifter, i just want a project car you dont see on the road everyday...like a mustang.
