I bought my G35 from the dealer but they forgot to clear out all the pervious owner's info in the navigation memory. I had the guys address, work address, random other addresses... He also left a spare key to his BMW in the trunk where the owner's manual and such are. There was also a first aid kit which included a pad for female use.

I bought my Accord brand new.

I bought my 1st car (1G DSM) from a local guy I knew, but I didn't know about all the effed up stuff with the car. There were a couple small cigg holes in it at random places, and all of the wiring was shot.

Sorry I don't own any 240's, but I did have plans to get one before I got my current car, and my 2nd car, and my 1st car lol.

Previous owner of my S14 was a wannabe racer who had to sell his car because he got grounded, or something.

Previous owner of my current car was some mid-40's married lady who needed an SUV, so she traded it in.

bought mine from a dealer. so i dont really know anything about it. i wanna run a carfax on it just to see how many owners its had and stuff. but when i got it was just like any other 240, cracked dash, no a/c, no working stereo, timing chain rattle, and died on you sometimes when you pressed in the clutch, lol. most of that fixed minus the a/c, took that ish out! lol.

I just bought mine yesterday. A 1990 Nissan 240SX. The owner I bought it from owned it for only a few weeks and decided he didn't want it but the guy before him thought the world, or at least the car, was his ash tray. I found cigarette butts underneath the shift boot; the shift boot was covered in ashes, the whole center console is one big clump of ash and way back into all the wires underneath the dash; ash. There was cigarette butts in places I have no idea how he got to. We found gum rappers behind the dash where the hazard light button is. Like HOW!?

And...intake made from dryer hose!

Why do people like to treat 240's like big ashtrays? I've seen some of the filthiest ashtrays in these cars. Weird. But that's what they're for. But not the dash and the din unit and the carpet. Enough already!

Good thread. I got my s14 from a mexican dude that was hella into lowriders, he said "I need the money for some juice". Also he stated that if he keeped the car, he would have painted it purple and threw on some 18" chromes.

The people I bought my car from were pretty cool. The thing is I dont see how they pay for all of the stuff they have. Their like 24 years old. The guy has been thru 7 240's, one of the one's he has now is ka-t. He has a brand new silverado ss and his wife just bought a g35. I mean thats alot of money and their in there low 20's.
They also have a pretty nice house.

They must have some good jobs.

to the person who said the pad in the first aid kit for feminine use, its not, it just works as a bandage. it soaks up blood better than bandaids.
