sunroofs

sunroofs

on 240 hatchbacks, did it ever come in power sunroofs/moonroofs or just manual roof. what is the difference between sunroof and moonroof if there is any.

Hatch ony ever got the popup.

SUnroof / Moonroof are basically interchangeable terms. The differences were invented by marketing departments and car salesmen, and nobody seems to know what refers to what anymore... If you have a hole over your head, call it whatever you want.

Coupes got power sliding sunroofs. Hatches only had pop up sunroofs, cause if it slid back you would hit it if you opened the hatch. As for sunroof/moonroof.... I thought sunroofs are tinted and moonroofs aren't

i thought sunroofs just poped up, and moonroofs slide all the way back

yeah i think its the sunroofs pop up and moonroofs slide. my moms car has a tinted moonroof that slides back.

I beleive that moonroofs are glass sliding roofs while sunroofs are solid.
