It looks like you got some areas more than others. Mainly the lines / streaks on the main body of the lid. wet sand it with 800 grit and then prep for paint again. Try this technique:

Find out how thick the pain line will be.

After that, slowly "dust" over starting from one side to the other and back.

Then evenly match up your spray lines (the thickness of the spray) and "dust" the second line of paint.

Repeat until you go from top to bottom. It does not matter if it painted on properly or not, let what you have dry off a bit, say 10 - 15 min, then repeat those steps above. If you miss a few places, dont worry, let it dry off 10 - 15 min and "redraw" that line.

LOL dude, I just gave you the basic painting technique all body shops use LOL

yeah just wetsand that with 800 till it is really really smooth, then use a bunch of clear coat, let it dry for a few days, come back and wetsand again (this time with 1500 then 2000) then use an electric buffer with some "scratch-x" and wax. it should look very shiny

I wouldnt use 800 just before clear, paint would come out with crazy scratches and look really bad. Use 800 to resurface and level out the unevenness of the paint, then try to reapply a good even solid coat. It should take about 3 applications of the technique I gave you, but then after, let it get a little tacky and look for bad spot, use 1500 grit and gently smooth out the surfaces. wipe the sanding material off with either a tac-towel or use some road and tar remover liquid on a paper towel and wipe the dust off. Then clear coat it using the same technique. about 3 coast would be ****.
