is a t04 turbo a ebay turbo or is it a decent one? has anyone ever heard of this turbo before? Im buying a 240 and it comes w/ the turbo only so how much does it cost for the other parts? thanks

 

you may wanna good turbo families... there are hundreds out there.

also ebay doesn't make turbo's people sell them on there and if its sold there odds are its not the best quality. some last longer than other, but they all will self destruct.

 

all cost depends on the parts u buy. if u want ur car to last a long time, dont skimp. especially on the turbo.

 

I use a t04 turbocharger on my car. It's an oem garrett turbocharger. there are many different t04s

 

I was about to say T04 is a family right? Not a brand . . .chances with car parts are this . . .if it doesn't have a brand name on the product, it's not worth buying, even Fidanza and Exedy put their name on their clutches and flywheels.

Like . . .someone is really going to see it, it's like people who put vinyls under the hood . . . no no . . .Stig . . .don't go there!

there are probably 4 or 5 companies that make t04 like garrett, precision, turbonetics etc. and then you have your generic low quality units

 

Um. if not too late.

check for a badge on the turbo. see if it's a garrett, or an HKS... HKS makes 3 T04 turbos : a T04R and a T04S and a T04Z
all good for at least 500hp... if your car is built to take it.....
