I haven't heard of anyone using this brand, however I've read good reviews about XTD or XTR clutches.. I can't recall the brand. Flywheels are referred to as flywheels for a reason haha. Don't mess with no name brand flywheels. Unless you have a scatter shield Most clutches are not made by the "brand" under which they are sold. Most of the time the company sends certain specs in to OEM manufacturers, or OEM replacement manufacturers.. Thats why most pressure plates look identical. Ergo (got that word from the matrix III) most clutches are the same. So go ahead and buy an F1, XTD, or XTR clutch.. It will work fine. Don't mess with the flywheel though if you value your legs. Worst case scenario, yes.. But still...

well im actually looking for a stage 2 but i was wondering about these. ive seen the xtd clutches too. my setup is single cam with bored head, 3 angle valve grind, stage 2 cam, header, intake, and exhaust. want to get my ecu remaped soon too. the reason im looking into a clutch is because i was beat by a honda crx that i think i couldve taken if i had a better clutch/flywheel, and some new wheels. thanks for the help.

i had a bad experience with f1 clutch(haven't tried the flywheel)...
the clutch(stage 2) is okay for daily driving but if your racing/launching it slips or if you shift to second gear while your at 5500-6000 rpm it'll slip too...
i've broken in the clutch(500 miles)....

i now have a oem exedy and its great...i've heard of guys xtd clutchs going out on ka-t's but then again idk i haven't tried them and don't plan onto....you get what you pay for...

Like Agustin said... Support the vendors, and ideally support the sponsors. Exedy clutchs IMO are the best for the money btw.

unless exedy offers a clutch/flywheel combo for $300, which I highly doubt. In my experiance I had ACT, exedy and XTD. The ACT lasted only 2 years with less than 6000 miles (turbo MR2) so I replaced it with a Exedy and the pedal felt like crap and there was not sutable grip. I recently did a tranny swap with XTD clutch/flywheel combo, solid one piece aluminum driveshaft and solid tranny mount. With that setup, the break in period was rough but when I finnaly put 1000 miles on the clutch I had no problem smoking up my tires, which I might add that I have 10" wide rims w/ 245/45/17's on a bone stock motor. Its your decision.
