Wow your shat must be mad rusty, because mine came out pretty easily.........I also installed TEIN ends and rods....

made a HUGE difference, steering way tighter, more responsive...

Also, you SHOULD put in the "spacers" for increasing steering angle

Even if you don't drift (like me, I don't drift), it makes your turning radius so tight.

I can turn around without making a K-turn on most streets

Is your puller a pickle fork or that other thing?

what i did without a puller or pick was use a bottle jack under the tie rod thread. with the car on two jack stands and lifted the car a bit then tapped on part of the steering knuckle with a hammer. the aplied force from the bottle jack should pop the tie rod free.

i've done this on three differant cars with no problem, just don't raise the bottle jack too high beacuse once the tie rod if freed the steering knuckle will hit the bottle jack.

only lift it high enough to raise the steering knuckle but not high enough to lift the car off the jack stands.

When I put my front lower control arms on I got that pickle fork and I didn't even need it. I just smacked the arm and it popped right out. Wouldn't recommend it if you are re-using the arms or anything else though because some of 'em are stuck in pretty good and you could damage or bend whatever it is with a hammer.

+1 for the bottle jack. You can also use any manual jack. Just put the jack on the bolt and jack it up to put pressure on the bolt and hit the arm with a hammer. Dont be a wuss, hit it hella hard.
