time to buy, need advice.

i haven't been around a whole lot so i'll give you guys some history on me.

i own a non turbo 95 eclipse. car was in an accident and needs body work and a motor. total will be like 3700 to fix it. i have the money but i don't think it's really worth it. for the money i could get a S13, i've even seen some S14's for 4500. anyway, i have a shortblock ordered but they've taken way to long to get my motor in. i sent them a chck back on nov. 14. since then they've only gotten my pistons. that's it. check isn't cashed so i'm thinking scrap that idea and move onto a new car.

so i need some buying advice. i like both the S13 and S14 so the question is which would be the better buy. either way i plan on doing an SR swap (of course) and some nice coilovers, prolyl cusco's.

what should i look for when buying as far as what typically goes bad? does it matter if the car has the all wheel steering or not? would the all wheel steering be easy to disable? what else do i need to know?

also i'm about 6'2'' would i be able to fit in the car? i don't have alot of room in my clipse so i'm sorta used to being somewhat cramped.

Please look in the FAQ forum.

It will answer most of your questions.

I'm 6ft and I have room to spare in my S14.

The HICAS (all wheel steering) can be easy disabled with a HICAS defencer kit.

If you plan on the car being a daily driver, I would suggest getting an S14 (try to get SE trim) because they are newer.

Either way your are gonna get a great car if it is in good shape.

240s arent the best cars for tall people...but i see plenty of tall/big people drive them. Its all up to how much money and which one you want to get, and as for the rest check out the FAQ section...it will help you out a lot

I'm like 6'3, and hes right, dont plan on having anybody sitting straight up behind you, its tighter then a...well its really tight back there. However, if they lay across the seat its not that bad, but we all know that thats illegal or something, i dunno

If you're used to your eclipse, then getting used to the space in the 240 shouldn't be a problem.

I'm another 6ft plus guy and I fit just fine in my s13. Get a little cramped on long road trips, but it's not designed to be a GT or luxury car. You'll be fine.

If you are concerned about interior space, 240SX is far from ideal.
