tire pressure
watch out on that. That is a car for stock rubbers.
each tire likes a different pressure depend on tread.
32 is safe in almost any car tire for daily driving.
when racing i ran 40 front and 38 rear.

This is a good thread....it says 29, and says that it depends on the tire width and rim width however.
But then, if you were to ever go to a tire manufacturer, it would say it depends on the car!
Does anyone know how rim/tire width/sidewall thickness influences the "normal/safe" proper air pressure?

your supposed to test and inflate your tires when they are cold at about 16-18 degrees celius. is what I haveheard due to the fact that a warm tire will show a much lower psi that it would cold, there fore you may over inflate the tire. so the best time to check would be early in the morning before you start driving. as far as aftermarket rims and tires who knows my buddy is runing bf goodrich sport ta's super low profile on his lancer and he keeps his tires at 23PSI and they grip like a dog trying to hump your leg.

Generally, higher tire pressure=better gas mileage......
I have "How to Make You Car Handle"....it's a really good scientific resource....
The guy says that as far as handling is concerned, underinlfating affects traction more quickly than overinflation.
So if the "ideal pressure" is 32 psi, for example, 28 psi will give worse handling than 36 psi.

that is a good point I know that most of the cars in the speed world chalenge which are mostly stock cars with weight reduction and roll cages basically run between 34 and 38 PSI in their tires. soI guess a higher PSI gives better all around traction. mind these are race tires.
