total over heatage... haha..

arite, my car never over heated before.. and one night when i drove up to the crest, i heard my coolant boiling.. and this never happened before... soo... possible radiator flush is needed? that's all i can think of..

help?

what does the temp gauge say? is it getting hot according to it? need a little more info does the car sputter? do you get water on the ground after parking?

nah. no sputtering at all. the car drives the same. the only difference is that it starts over heating when it never did before. and yes, according to the temp. gauge, it was hot.. like almost to the top.. im kinda paranoid to drive it now.

wrong section, have you bleed the system yet.. if not let the injen run top the fluid off in you radiator and fill it as it bubbles out.. do that for 10 minutes

-when you fill up the radiator and its idleing, bounce the front bumper up and down. This coax some air bubbles out.
-theres also a bleed bolt on where the top rad, hose hits the engine. take it out (don't just loosen it, that wont do anything) and fill it up until it starts pouring out of the little hole.

id also check the thermostat it maynot be opening when its supposed to. if its not opening then your not getting enough water into the system and itll over heat even if your full on collant. also start checking under your car at normal running temp to see if water is escaping through the pee hole in the water punp if it is then you need a new water pump. just dont keep runing it when it gets too hot
