Not to be a ***** here.... but there's thread s that are 10 pages long about this.

The decision is on you... Both require money, parts, (bolt on and internals) and both have plenty of benefits. N/A is instant power all the time, turbo means possible lag and the need for internal upgrades... research as much as you possibly can, I've been reading about this crap for 2 years now and i still have lots to learn. You wont be able to jump to a decision based on these posts. There's lots of **** to look at before choosing either one...The answers to this thread will just be people argueing about which they like, but it's your car

anyways... good luck

build and turbo it!! you're going to make more power by turboing it...that's what I would do.... but it all depends on your HP goals... if you're only looking for say 230CHP then you can do a N/A build..

i dont konw, boosting the compression to 10.1 helps with a lot of hp. I was looking at the ka24e engine pistons and rods. I kno that boost u up to 10.1 But besides that puttin in a cam and ****, it would still be cheaper then puttin a turbo on. and i belive you would come out with more hp at the end.

it all depends... you can turbo your KA for decently cheap... like $1500 could get you a turbo, manifold, bov, innercooler, piping, fuel pump, 370cc injectors, safc, plugs, wires, ect... and probably get 200+whp .. or even use stock injectors.. there's a lot of factors, depending if you buy new stuff, used, can install yourself, can fab. yourself...

or just.. buy high compression pistons, injectors, fuel pump, cams, safc, clutch, electric fans, remove AC + emissions crap (if it's legal there), port and polish, an intake, exhaust, header.. ect... then get it tuned good.. and get some decent HP.

well i dont really want to upgrade my engine if i'm gonig to turbo. So at the start prob just runnnin like 6-8 lbs of boost, keep most of the engine stock unless i get like injectors or fuel pump, i already got plugs, wire intake 3" exhaust so im pretty much set for lil ****.

you're going to need...

Turbo
Turbo manifold
Wastegate (if not internal)
Downpipe
Blow off valve
Innercooler
Innercooler piping
Oil lines/fittings
370cc injectors (stock sr20det injectors)
Some sort of fuel management (fmu, safc, emanage, aem ems to name a few)
Fuel pump

plus remember.. you'll need all your fluids, i'd change tranny and diff fluids also.. I don't know how much the stock clutch can hold... maybe some gauges, water temp, oil temp, boost, air/fuel ratio, ect... boost controller would be nice too..
