Turn Signal Question

When I turn on my left turn signal on the lights blink real fast and they are very dim, but when I turn on my right turn signal it blinks at a normal speed and the lights are alot brighter.

My question is, what is causing this?

Thanks

Are all the other lights on the left side of your car working? The turn signal will blink quickly if you have a short or a light out somewhere.

i forgot to post that it was a loose or dirty connections, i took both bulbs out on the left side and cleaned them and put them back and now everything is back to normal.

Thanks for the help!
