Question Turn Signals Don't Work!

I reset my check engine light and now my turn signals don't work. They dont turn on in the dash light or outside the car. Anyone have any ideas why they dont work. Your help will be appreciated.

I checked the fuse inside the car and it was fine. There is another fuse box under the hood. Is there a fuse for the signals in there?

Check on the box. It will tell you every fuse under the box.

The fuse box under the hood doesnt have any signal fuses. I only see head lamp fuses. Does anyone know of anything else that could be wrong???

I can't answer the question but maybe this will help someone who can...

how did you reset the CEL? disconnect/reconnect the battery? or go thru the whole procedure w/ the screw or whatever it is. Since yours is a 95, they came in both ODBI and ODBII.... which is yours?

on board diagnostics I or II cars before 95 came with I, after 95 came with II. ODBII has a special connector that you need to connect to a computer to read cel codes.

I think if u reset it with the screw that means u have ODBI. I'm not sure...

I have to read my codes by seeing how many times the check engine light blinks and there is also a red light in the ecu.

yeah that's ODBI i'm pretty sure, but we're going OT now...

ummm anyone know why his turn signals would stop working? I mean the relays could be shot, but i don't have a clue as to how to go about cheking that or even if that would be the problem.

i dont know what resetting your ecu would cause your turn signals to not work... but there is also a flasher that goes with the fuse... in most cases it is a round metal (looks like a big bottle cap) object it is usually in the interior near the fuse box... now i dont know if there is one there or not but your service manual will tell you if you have one or not...

I know this is going to sound crazy, but I had the same problem one time......Maybe this happens once in a century and now is your turn..... My turn signals stopped working, I check the fuse next to drivers footwell compartment, fuses are good...so now Im playing with the combo switch (steering wheel combo switch) the switch is working good (checked with a continuity test) but Im not getting any voltgage coming thru (from fuse to combo switch) so Im thinking is got to be between fuse and combo switch...but decided to check the fuse by replacing it and it now it WORKS???
Im looking at the fuse and is not burned, but when I check it with a multimeter is not conducting....WT????? By close inspection on the legs of the fuse I noticed that some funny looking corrosion grew on the legs of the fuse and kept it from working correctily when installed.......sorry about the long post...If you havent try replacing the fuse, give it a try.....
