First of all, replace the fuse with a brand new one. Old fuses can visually look fine but may have a break in them from time.
Second - check if your hazard switch is unplugged. If it is, your signals won't work at all.
Third - check the multiflasher-relay (a.k.a. combination relay). 240's use a special relay found under the dash, I believe on the left side of the steering column (check an FSM - I ended up repositioning mine near the fuse panel when I accidentally crushed it). If that relay is bad, expect to pay about $24 at the dealer for it.
