umm, last time i checked the civic does pretty good for a 4banger... i dont see any other 4banger doing as well as they do,
as for displacement, u can build the motor and get better compression, o and alot of the civic on the strip uses b18 not thier stock engine, my friend;s ls teg got rebuild, he's getting 300whp with only 9.5 compression.. as for v8 owning a civic, dude, that's a v8 vs a 4 banger!!! it is expected!!! but some civic can kill v8 too...

personally, i wouldn;t put other car brand on my car, but u gotta give other ppl credit for how nice it looks even if u disagree...

ps... im thinking of putting civic and honda emblems on my 240sx and take ppl of that, just for fun,, well maybe ill do it, once my car is fix, then u can all tell me just how f*cked and funny that would be,, HONDA 240SX!!!!

I love honda dearly but they need to stick wit their family. Do a S2000 conv or somethin, nething but a Silvia. And I do believe they would the best 4's in the business. Can't deny their hp/L. Everyone else has to turbo when Honda can get good numbers NA. I'm a Nissan fan cuz of the RWD and turbo and I can't afford an S2000. And as far as beaten V8's. Anything can beat anything with the right amount of $. My old supervisor who has a 800+ hp Grand National was tellin me how Hondas were beaten a bunch of V8's in e-town last yr.

one day il find a wrecked S2k engine in a 89-90 coupe(dont wanna ruin a good DE) and have one of the most fun cars ever...

 

only a civic has BMW Z3 fender vents, lexus IS300 headlights, toyota supra tail lights, an acura NSX nose job, ferrari testarossa side vents, a subi WRX hood and who knows what for everything else. (BTW YES i have seen such civics. sadly i also saw a sentra is just as deplorable a state.)

One time in a parking lot I saw a Honda Prelude-Skyline. I wish I had my digital camera to get a shot of it. Darn it!

What I don't understand is Why? I've seen Civics with WRX rally lights. Why? A civic cpe turned into a civic si is hot. I like civic si just that I wanted a little more mature car. (Don't get me wrong my S14 is no NSX) But y do they have to look like other makes.

 

look my best freind owns a 92 civic hatch, i dont so much hate honda but i do hate the people that do things to their cars because they have watched the fast and the furious one too many times......ricers. my freind swapped his motor and did all the "honda" bolt-ons and it is a decent car. he still has the stock steelies no body kit and a couple of dents and i think its alright because it was planned out to be a racer but people that do s14 conv. and skyline conv. ect i dont like that **** because it is taking someone elses pride and joy of owning that car. yes you could look at it with a positive attitude and say hey, people are starting to make 240 conv, people are starting to reconise my car...cool, but im not one of those people...lol...and i think honda is a steriotipical topic because that is the ricers choice of car and to be honest "MOST" people that own a honda are rude and big-headed. some kid with a 95 ls teg stock told me he wasted a 240 with a sr20det. in a highway race maybe so i didnt say anything but then he started telling me how he jumped him off the line and the guy that owned the 240 his reaction time was quicker and bla...bla...bla...that is when i knew he was full of ****. so its all in peoples opinions and when it comes to opinions no one is right or wrong because that is how you feel about the subject.
