Samething happened to my wife. She took her boyfriend (at the time) to test drive a crx. He went back to his dad and they went and bought the car that evening for himself. Bad choice in boyfriend and car!!!

 

Hey hey, don't bash the CRX. The CRX is a Hando car i respect, just because of it's weight and the possibilities because of low weight. Anyways, yeah, that was low. next time, shut up until you get the car, then you can tell whomever you want, lol.

 

Yeah keep your mouth shut when buying anything that's second hand....like someone said, it's like ebay and be prepared to be outbid. I'd buy it and convert to manual if I was you.....Keep looking though. Good luck!

 

adding what everyone else said ... just be smart on what you keep to yourself. there's some things i don't tell my friends. i want to, but i don't want them to get all into it too.

oh, and what everyone else says can apply to girls (and i guess guys)... if you like a girl, have her get to like you A LOT before you introduce her to all your other single friends.... less of a chance of her going after them

I just got an email that someone replied to this thread, can't believe how old it is O_O

Anyways, I ended up getting an 01 S2000 (black with red interior) with 8500 miles for $21,900 from a DEALERSHIP! Lets just say I had hookups The car is in IMMACULATE condition, the first and only owner was a 65 year old that took very good care of this car.

 

dang this thread is about 8 months old, anyhow nice buy, hows it handle?

 

Handles amazingly When I first got the car the BS Potenza's were kinda bald, so the car would get sideways once in a while. I just forked up the money and got a new pair of S02's and it handles like a dream now

Neither of us ended up getting it. I got the S2000 and then he ended up getting a 350Z. We had a fun run a few months ago, I'll let you watch the vid to see what happened.
