What is this boot called?

I just bought an 89 240sx, and when I looked under it, this boot has been taped up and is broken, can it be replaced, and what is it called?

Thanks

not hard but an alignment will need to be done.

If you don't replace the tie rod, you won't need to perform an alignment. You can usually find universal rack and pinion boots at auto parts stores- that's the way to go if it's hard to find an o.e. replacement. When re-installing the tie rod, pay attention to the rusted/dirty threads and don't screw it in past them. If you can line it up correctly, your steering will be where it was before the disassembly. Or if you buy a new tie rod while you're at it, mark it according to the old one before installing it.
