I'm looking to spend like $150 mabey on something performance for my car. I'm looking for a little more accel, cause i dont think it has enough off the line. What do you guys recommend?
I already got an intake and a catback.
Also how much do you think i can get for my '92 240sx with 86k miles and perfect body?
i'm looking to buy another one thats stick only because i know some one who wants to buy it. But if i cant find a better car then i'm not going to sell. Any suggestions. Please dont post save up your money and buy a turbo or sumthing. I'm looking for just something little to add a little power.
U guys know anywhere to get some nice fender flares. I looked around but i didn't see to many.

and theres some online stores that sell imported parts from japan...look em up in google?...lol...i cant think of any off the top of my head...this isnt good for any accel...but some springs...tein Stech are pretty popular are a good mod...for power...iono...how much are cams and/or cam gears for the KA24s nowadays?

 

150 bucks isn't too much.

If i were you I'd just get some nice spark plugs, spark plug wires, z32 fuel filter and maybe some high quality oils (engine, tranny)

For your car I'd guess maybe 2 grand? 80 k miles is pretty low. I bet you'd get a little more if it was a coupe and not a hatch.

Damn 2 g's. Even with the cat back, rims, intake, and 4x6's. I payed 3 g's for it. I know you dont get your money back but those things came with when i bought it. Thanks for the help.

 

I was guessing man! I dunno i paid 4g's for my 95 that had a lot more stuff than yours so i was going by that.

 

a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it : ) Find someone willing to pay 3g's, then thats what its worth.

spark plugs, brake pads, sylvania head lights (preformance in the dark) , crank pulleys, cam sprockets, head gasket, blah blah blah etc...
pick one.

persoanlly, i'd go with wat Ken suggested earlier. I'd just change my fluids n clean up the engine a lil. and i guess i'd change the sparks too.

 

i'm kinda new to car engine's and i know what crank pully's and cam sprockets are but how do they affect the engine?

 

headers, ignition stuff, short shifter... i'd try to sell the car for like $5000 and then bargain up or down depending on who's interested
