What do you think?

Ok, its a 91 auto, 128K miles on her. Black exterior and some kind of grey leather interior. NO frame rust at all, drives VERY nice, no engine noise what so ever. Has a tiny hole near the rear spoiler, and the usual dings and scratches. Good tires, original rims, brakes are great, no squealing at all.

Has an overheating problem, owner said its not that bad, you just gotta watch the gauge. Said he just replaced the thermostat, but still does it. He said to bleed the system(??) and it should be fine. The rear hatch key does not work, but the trunk release lever does. Said that if your sitting at a light or something, it would misfire, and also said its prolly the pulg that he couldn't get out. Said he didn't try REAL hard to get it out, but was hard enough not to replace it.

How much would YOU pay for it? AND do you think its a good buy?

Also, how hard is a manual swap?

Thanks

$1500 MAX.

Manual swap is plug and play, takes a weekend if you have all the parts and the knowledge to do..

That misfiring could be a simple problem, then again it could also mean and engine overhaul.

I wouldn't pay more then $1,200 for it. The car is 16 yrs old. I'm sure the owner did/does take really good care of the car. But, if he is going to sell it to you in that condition.. that means you have to pay for it to get it fixed. Am I making sense? Probably not.

Dude it's an auto. I wouldn't pay more than $1000. Even swapping out to a 5speed manual cost money.

Lowball him a bit before you offer 1g straight up, might get it significantly cheaper if you flash the cash
