Sum it up is this, the SE is the non-hatchback version. The se is heavier than the hatchback and I think all hatchbacks don't have HUD in em. I might be wrong.

does it really matter if it's s13 or s14?..well iguess so since your asking.
well i'm thinking about selling my 240 hatch for a zenki s14 (240sx)..
so i would say i'm reffering to the s14! ^_^

in that case, there are differences, some matter, some dont...here they are

Base - black-faced gauges / SE - white-faced gauges
Base - 4-lug axles / SE - 5 lug axles
Base - 15-inch steelies / SE - 16-inch 5-spoke alloys

i know there are other ones...like certain options such as ABS, LSD, sunroof, leather, and the like...

other than that, im not sure...other ppl should input..

SE stands for sport edition, correct?

...so that means there are probably some suspension differences, right?

..does the s14 come with that HICAS or SUPER HICAS?

oh yea...sorry...

the SE has a sport tuned suspension...basically the springs are stiffer, it might have beefier roll bars, but basically its tuned more for handling than ride quality...

and no, i dont thing any s14s have HICAS...

Lol
Thats not even close, but thanks for playing. heh. For s13's a SE can be a coupe or hatchback. The SE's have Hicas (LSD) and generally but not always ABS brakes. They have beefier sway bars and better springs i'm told. Power windows & Doors are standard as well, although i've never seen a 240 without power everything i know they exist, heh.

S14's I haven't a clue, they don't appeal to me.

close. 91-above S13's had an SE model both in hatch and coupe models. 89-90, however, hatches were SE's and coupes were XE's:
