k, sorry for the dumbass questions i alwayz post, not too many, but the ones i do all seem to be dumb. idk much about cars, but im tryin to learn, lol. i actually really did search this time, o the net too, but all i get is like japanese sights. im tryin to find the differnce between a 180sx and a 240sx. all iv found out so far, is 180sx is japanese, and 240 is american? or something liek that.

now are u talking about a kouki and zenki/chuki? 180s have that center garnish in the rear that say 180sx..its RHD obviously. Different engine(CA or SR) the rear qurater panel glass has 180sx on them...the gauge cluster obviously...and on the kouki 180sx,, the rear tail lights are different. Oh the wheels as well..

The 240SX fastback is just an American 180SX w/ a bigger engine, no turbo, and obviously the LHD. The 180's cam e/w either a CA18DET, which is a 1.8 liter DOHC turbo engine, or the SR20DET, which is a 2.0 liter DOHC turbo engine. The 240's came w/ either a KA24E (89-90) which is a 2.4 liter SOHC engine, or the KA24DE (91-98) which is a 2.4 liter DOHC engine. The DE differs from the E in that it has a different head and one more camshaft. The 240SX Fastback was made from 1989-1993, and in 1991, it changed very little bit on the exterior and had different rims, and obviously the KA24DE. Many people in America w/ the 240SX's swap in either the CA18DET or the SR20DET in. Just a little info....

don't forget that the 180sx continued in production up through '99, so S13 SR's are fairly abundant.
