KBB value is usually pretty high so anything over that is questionably high. Try looking at edmunds.com and check out their pricing guide. Its called TMV. It gives an accurate value of the car based on what price certain cars actually sell for, as opposed to what people ask for them which is what KBB is.

Trade-in price is $1,384.
Private-Party is $2,122.
Dealer Retail is $3,415.

Base on these numbers above. I shouldn't pay for nothing more than $2,500, right?

The reasonable price = private price +(no more than $500 given it is outstanding)

Is this formula right?

Yea i wouldnt pay any more than about that. I mean if its in MINT condition in and out which i doubt, then i might pay like $3k at the very maximum, but thats it.
