Question Why should I buy a 240sx

I am looking for a good tuner car and I am wondering if a 240 is a good choice. I am also wondering how much it would be to make a 240 fast.

I just bought my 240 about a mounth ago, and they are great cars, there no skyline or any thing but for there price and there age they are pretty fast. My car is mostly stock or atleast under the hood it is, but I am putting out more horse power than my friends V6, and more torque than another friends V8.

?? youre putting out more HP than a v6 and more TQ than a v8 on a "mostly stock" 2.4L KA??

i'm confused as f**K.. more horse power than a v6.. maybe... yeah i can possibly see it.. most likely an old dodge caravan v6..

but the TQ more than a v8? what kind of v8 are we talking about here??? I have a 1982 GMC cargo van with a dinky 3L V8 and it hauls more A$$ than my 240 ever will.... man i wish my stock motor with a KN filter would produce more torque then a 5.0L V8.. or even better.. a 8.7L V8..... now that would be cool.

are you SURE your KA is mostly stock???? or what the hell did your friend with the V8 do to his engine and tranny? what type of engine is it? is their an old sock or rag in the intake pipping that is preventing the air from reaching the engine??????

dude, explain yourself.

i bought my 93 240 for about 4 months now even tho the tuning can be a pain in the butt sometimes its worth your time! because when u drive it, it gives you alot of thrill. if you want fast its gonna cost ALOT but take your time with what u got and everything will come as planned! so far my 240 is stock just got an aem intake and a tanabe catback...so basically 240's are alot better than hondas/acuras dued to the fact that they R played out...no offence to honda/acura owners.

Don't ask if you should by a 240, ask why shouldn't you, because 240s are something different. If you wanna be like everyone else get a honda, but if you want a rear wheel drive beast thats capable of putting out way more power than a honda, get a 240. There are many other reasons to get one too, but im too lazy to list them all.

Good point but we gotta stop using the " be like everyone else "

excuse. 240s are getting very popular and you will see more and more look just like yours.
