oh ok, i thought u were building an NA beast, so for the itb's are you planning on enclosing the ones u already have or are you gona have to change them? I thought u chose single cam cuz of being NA, why not dual cam then?

well i chose the single cam because im poor and it was free and yes i will be enclosing the ITBs in a plenum even when i run them without a turbo so i can use the stock ecu and maf.

as for running turbo and ITBs in conjunction on a KA engine has been done.

^ that is frickin sex in a box!

theres a few people that have it, there is actually a kit for the sr20 that makes them bolt right up to intercooler..

as for making an NA powerful basically you do full boltons ie. intake/header/exhaust/pulleys/ecu/tune/cams/clutch/flywheel and then of course you can strip the car, get lighter driveshaft, and other things like that.. upping the compression is key, basically you want high compression rings/pistons...and ITB's of course but they are more for throttle response.

Is an SR swap really gonna cost 5 grand? The motor should be give or take 2 grand. If you do it yourself, after all the costs, shouldnt it run you like 2500?

no one just does a straight swap. bolt ons will get you at $5000 really quickly

and we gotta keep in mind, not everybody can just perform the swap on their own, many people enlist a shop to do it for them, and labor can get expensive real quick.

my gf's dad has one and its funny cause they live in the country so they drive slow as hell and u can feel every bump...

sr20 i think is just lighter and could hold more power on its own.. i dont feel like getting into it right now
